Center for Imaging and Image-Guided Therapies (CIIGT) ↗

MSU's advanced imaging hub in the Biomedical Research Complex, opened spring 2026. Home of the Siemens Biograph One PET/MR, with dedicated workflows for human, companion-animal, and large-animal research — a true translational "one-stop shop." CIRC acquires its human data here.

Michigan State University's university-wide biomedical imaging initiative, spanning Radiology, Biomedical Engineering, and the Institute for Quantitative Health Science & Engineering — integrating advanced human and preclinical imaging (MRI/MRS, PET/CT, and cellular/molecular imaging) across MSU.

BAMF Health ↗

A joint venture with MSU on the Grand Rapids Medical Mile (Doug Meijer Medical Innovation Building), delivering molecular imaging and theranostics. Home to one of the very few total-body PET systems in the U.S. and an active Alzheimer's / anti-amyloid program.

Michigan Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (MADRC) ↗

An NIA-funded P30 center uniting the University of Michigan, MSU, and Wayne State into a statewide ADRD research network — with a longitudinal cohort, the UM fMRI Laboratory, the Michigan Brain Bank, and a Biomarker Core at the Grand Rapids Research Center.
